I fully agree. I had assumed that the reason all the past liabilities were not declared at the merger time is because it was clear that Peter diluted the stock to payout past debts. To me, this massive dilution that Peter undertook in the waning months of VDSC days looked like the debts were covered and the rumblings we were seeing was from folks that wanted to double dip. I assumed that the addition of Ms Rice was to scare away the false claims.
The flaw in this was my assumption that the CEO/BD did a proper analysis of the financial status of VDSC at time of merger. It would appear that they were sooooo green to the business world that they simply took folks word at face value and wanted to save the attorney fees involved in double checking the math.
At any rate, based on this bad assumption, I threw another $10k in this company above and beyond the thousands and thousands I put into VDSC.
Yes, I am bitter. May take awhile to get over this.
