Schlumberger ($SLB) and Cameron ($CAM) jointly announced the U.S. Justice Department has cleared their proposed merger without any conditions. Following approval by Cameron shareholders and satisfaction of other closing conditions, the merger is expected to be complete by the first quarter of 2016.
