JERSEY CITY, N.J., Nov. 18, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Ever wonder why even though most people know when they are making poor food choices, they make them anyway? This is because there is sometimes a driver which is stronger than the ability to make sound decisions. Late afternoon or late in the night finds many people rummaging through the pantry almost mindlessly, choosing foods with high amounts of processed carbohydrates. So often these types of non-intellectually driven food cravings are due to physical and emotional stressors. If permitted, work, family and finances can wreak havoc on one's health and their weight. High levels of stress cause hormones and neurotransmitters to shift, resulting in anxiety, insomnia, fatigue, depression, weight gain, and low libido. A negative cycle ensues and many people feel hopeless that they will ever find their way back to health. Many try one fad diet after another, lose a few pounds initially and then revert to their stress-snack cycle once again. This is because the real underlying issues have not been addressed.
At Diet Doc, new patients will be asked to complete an initial health questionnaire and speak personally to one of their highly trained weight loss physicians during an online consultation. The system is reviewed to identify and address cellular toxicity, hormonal imbalance, improperly functioning organs and underlying stressors that may be causing weight gain or preventing fast weight loss before tailoring a diet plan that will help patients reach their ideal weight safely, quickly and permanently.
Because Diet Doc is a medical weight loss program, they have been able to combine scientific research with the most modern medical understanding, along with the most brilliant minds in the weight loss industry, to develop Emotional Eating Diet Plans that address stress-related eating disorders. By restoring optimal dopamine levels, a neurotransmitter strongly connected to the sense of wellbeing and reward, more and more patients are successfully and comfortably losing excess fat and looking and feeling better than ever before, both physically and emotionally.
The professionals at Diet Doc are specially trained in the art and science of weight gain and weight loss. They understand the challenges associated with sticking to a diet because of the powerful urges, food cravings and side effects associated with decreasing carbohydrates. They understand that many people are emotionally driven to choose unhealthy foods. They understand why many people feel that they deserve this reward following a stressful day and they understand that this cycle of stress-snack can become, both, a dependency and an entitlement.
Much like heroin or nicotine, foods high in processed carbohydrates increases dopamine – the "feel good" chemical in the brain. Diet Doc has found that their patients who have struggled with emotional eating disorders respond well to low doses of naltrexone, along with subcutaneous lipotropic agents and a customized diet plan that is specific to each patient's age, gender, activity level, nutritional needs and medical conditions. And, while all patients are eligible for nutritionist-designed diet plans that are uniquely tailored to be personal to each patient's needs, many will qualify to incorporate pure prescription hormone diet treatments, exclusive diet pills and powerful fat burners to burn fat 4 times faster while controlling the temptation to reach for unhealthy treats, stave off food cravings and eliminate loss of energy during dieting.
Diet Doc's physicians are not primary care physicians. They have received specialized training in nutrition and are keenly aware of how external situations can influence a person's physical and emotional health and how stress can tempt people to reach for foods that are comforting, allowing the brain to release hormones that temporarily calm the mind and body. Because of this special training, Diet Doc's doctors are more able to identify and address emotional eating disorders that may have led to dangerous and unwanted weight gain.
New patients whose weight may have gotten out of control due to stress and other emotional eating disorders, can easily and effortlessly join the Diet Doc team by calling the company or visiting www.dietdoc.com . And, although the Diet Doc fast weight loss experts work closely with each patient and are available on an unlimited basis for suggestions, concerns and support throughout, their patients do not have to attend embarrassing, time consuming and costly doctor or weight loss clinic visits. Through their partnership with Telemedicine, Diet Doc patients can now consult with their team, work with their nutritionist, schedule weekly checkups calls for progress monitoring, and reorder their prescription diet products via the phone or internet for direct and immediate delivery to their home or office. This modern approach to weight control has earned Diet Doc a nationally recognized position in the weight loss industry and has helped over 25,000 patients throughout the country overcome emotional eating disorders, improve their emotional and physical health and lose 20 or more pounds per month.
