INBI News nfusion Brands Transforms Ruby Crystal Into Top Selling Beauty Product
2012-04-27 11:38 ET - News Release
CLEARWATER, Fla., April 27, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Infusion Brands International (Pink Sheets:INBI) continues to make a name for itself in the global consumer products market by taking over distribution of existing products and quickly generating global sales velocity. Ruby Crystal – an all-in-one nail care system – saw a 260 percent increase in units sold in the first year after Infusion Brands took over product distribution in 2010.
Infusion Brands has reinvigorated the Ruby Crystal product line by leveraging direct response sales channels, including live television shopping. Ruby Crystal is quickly becoming one of the top beauty sellers on one of the largest live shopping networks in the United States. More than 45,000 units were sold in the first quarter of 2012 alone, with projections for the year topping out at 100,000 units.
"Since initially given distribution rights for the Ruby Crystal line last year, our team has been hard at work re-establishing the value of this brand to our customers," said Bob DeCecco, Chairman and CEO of Infusion Brands. "Due to our teams' live television shopping expertise, Infusion Brands was able to take this product line to another level of success by using our proven strategic methods to generate sales."
Ruby Crystal is an all-in-one nail care system that produces beautiful, healthy nails without expensive and time-consuming trips to the spa or salon. The system features ten tools that file, clean, shape, seal and moisturize your nails, along with easy-to-follow, step-by-step instructions for use.
Infusion Brands plans to reveal the Ruby Crystal product re-launch this summer, as well as three new product configurations specifically for live shopping later this year and another in 2013. The consumer products company also launched the Ruby Crystal brand on The Shopping Channel in Canada in January of this year. Projections for The Shopping Channel are currently on target to do up to 20,000 units by year-end.
"We've seen phenomenal results with Ruby Crystal so far via live shopping and look forward to greater success with additional line items and extensions, as well as new distribution partnerships, in the future," added DeCecco.
