The "shutdown" that people are that people are talking about in reference to the FAA from Thanksgiving to New Years is just crap. The 787 Dreamliner's first flight was on December 15th, 2009...well into between Thanksgiving and New Year, and I know the FAA certification team was presented....I was there. They don't "shut down" for the holidays.
The fear about the California Pacific Airlines being similar to Baltia is reasonable, but the circumstances are very different.
But I am getting a bit pissed off about the sweet ass time FAA is taking.
