I understand many now have a pessimistic view after all the roller coaster ride we had in the last 2 years or more. However, with the tremendous growth in content together with the news from all over the world that all point that 4K is impossible because there are no content and the drawback of the bandwidth required to stream 4k--the answer to this problem is non other than Ultraflix. No one of the 4k players has those two aspects that the world craves for. It's just a matter of time. In 2013, 4k Tvs are too expensive for the regular joe and now they are just as affordable as their 1080p counterparts, just a 10% premium. With that, the demand for 4k will exponentially grow and the bottleneck in the bandwitdh department will become more of the issue. Comcast wants to put a CAP on monthly internet usage. This will make ultraflix more and more important because it's current internet speed required is the same or even lower than streaming movies required. That is, 4k is possible at the current internet pipeline. No upgrades needed.
