I did say that and I stick by what I said 100%. If stores were so willing to place the pot leaf in their store then there'd be no reason for a new design. small local stores aren't going to get results you're after. When there's a new flavor and a new can design that's been created for the purpose of product placement there would have to be a product run for that. You can't just pour from can to can you know. So a lot of that 96k product run is going to be for the new design and flavor.
At no point however, did I say anything about it being a last ditch effort. You pulled the quote and reposted it yourself. Where in my post did I say "last ditch effort?" I was just saying don't let the production run be confused for great sales, and there may be great sales, in place of what it probably is for. Look at the timing of the new flavor, can and production run.
