In the world of reality, a new class of antibiotics, a possible new non-toxic treatment for some types of cancer, a possible treatment for oral mucositis, and a possible treatment for psoriasis are worth a lot (CTIX). So is a possible treatment for Alzheimer's that, whether or not it "cures" it, at least seems to be improving cognition with an un-optimized dose over a very short course of treatment (AVXL). Any of these drugs working will move share prices upward the way we saw with JAZZ and ACAD.
I find it particularly bothersome to see the attack on AVXL, given the fact that there is no drug that has given any real signs of hope until this one -- and to see people trying to bring the company down with utter lies about how incredibly significant this news is, is sickening.
