Presented annually by the Fairfax County Chamber of Commerce and the Professional Services Counsel (PSC), the awards program honors the leadership, innovation, and commitment to excellence of individuals and businesses in the region's government contracting sector. Executive of the Year honorees are recognized for making outstanding contributions to their companies, the community, and the industry.

The Executive of the Year award recognized Michele's astute leadership and ability to drive Cognosante's exponential organic growth since she founded the company in 2008.
