Nice to see some fellow SIRI investors here. I invested in SIRI right after Stern was hired and like NTEK rode the roller coaster all the way down to the bottom which at the time was a nickel. I sold shortly after Liberty forced Mel out. I hope NTEK management, like Mel Karmazin at SIRI, is focused on shareholder value. Mel made it 100% clear he would never sell out the shareholders, who by the way are very much like NTEK shareholders, true believers and staunch supporters. He worked til the 11th hour to save the company from bk and save the shareholders from being wiped out. Mel made it happen and for that I'll always be grateful and always be a Sirius sub. Yea, I know it's now called Sirius/xm but for me, I'm still just a Sirius person.
The comparison of NTEK and SIRI is one I've mentioned several times in the past. It's a damn good one so I'm glad to see others (new people here) who seem to feel the same way. SIRI investors dealt with the same B.S. from short sellers as we are dealing now. It was vicious and it last years!
As awesome as SIRI, the stock, was at a .05 pps, NTEK is in a better position at .0072pps. Not kidding and not saying so just because I own NTEK. Rather, I'm saying so because it's true and thats why I own NTEK. No fear of bankruptcy here and vastly larger potential sub pool.
SIRI people have been there and done that. We saw what so many poo poo'ed and said was never going to happen. And all the while SIRI had to fight to defeat two Goliaths (XM) and the feds, (FCC). They did it by staying true to their shareholders as well as a laser focus on acquisitions of the best content available anywhere! The old saying, 'build it and they will come' was played pretty close to perfection.
If NTEK gets on 90% of 4K devices as they said they'd do, it's just about a guarantee NTEK will be a multi-billion$$$ stock. Not rocket science, not dreaming, just simple math.
