Share buy-back of 2,465,000 own shares for approx. USD 8 million
Reference is made to Össur hf.'s announcement No. 46/2015 published on 28 October 2015.
Today the Company purchased 2,465,000 own shares (approx. 0.6% of the Company's total share capital) on NASDAQ Copenhagen at the price of DKK 22,2 per share. The total purchase amount was DKK 54,723,000 million or approx. USD 8 million.
The purpose of the share buy-back is to adjust the capital structure by distributing capital to shareholders in line with the Company's Capital Structure and Dividend Policy. A proposal to decrease the share capital will be submitted to the Annual General Meeting in 2016 as a result of this transaction.
