Army is testing consumer drones for tactical effectiveness:

They mention that they are considering the effectiveness of swarms of drones able to drop small bombs.
"So the trials also examined how the range or flight time of consumer drones might be improved, how they might be used with night-vision cameras and how they can be modified to drop small bombs. "
The ProDropper may just have the technology they are looking for.
