Beaufort, Nobilis and Macallan were busy unloading shares from the note conversions and at the same time shareholders (and apparently 'insiders' of CRGP) were buying up shares in anticipation of a dividend payout in late August. I find it interesting to see the volume breakdown on a monthly basis by market participant. G1 execution services (ETRF or etrade) was the volume leader in July, August and September, which might help explain their decision to plan ahead and anticipate a possible clawback of the dividend. Ameritrade filed a response Friday expressing concern over notifying their clients who hold about 100 million shares. Etrade's task would be potentially much more difficult if it had to break bad news to their clients with quite a few more shares on hand.
