Hey KT..... Some advise ... On Black Friday the large discounts you will find are limited and are on the low end models only. You can find good deals when TV manufactures introduce new models, discounting the old ones. My suggestion is to do your research and compare each manufacture and specs. Invest in a good quality 4K .... It's an investment well worth it ...
I am also waiting to purchase a 80 or a 85 inch.... I have my eye out on the LG 4K OLED which currently they only make in 55 and 65 ....
Some of my research I've come up with is what makes the colors and contrast in 4K is the black backgound signal. The blacker the better. LG OLED 4K technology is the only true black signal you will find. They actually shut off the back light signal giving you a true black. I'm waiting and hoping they will come out with a 80 or 85 soon. It may be worth looking at one ....
