Some people maybe, but the deals on electronics (such as a 4K tv) happen within the last month (and even after) Christmas. I think the majority of people will wait until then. Hell, I do my Christmas shopping the last week before Christmas.
Marketing campaigns are expensive and I they think NTEK is waiting to get the most bang for their buck and also getting the platforms they have available as ready as possible for the push. JMHO
