It does not really matter because we are where we are, BUT I distinctly remember, shortly after the last mini when we knew that one slide did not deploy properly through no fault of Baltia, that someone posted that the manufacturer had sent TWO new slides to HQ and there was some speculation as to why two. I guessed in a post that one was for a re test of just the slide that failed and the other was to replace that one after it was used so the test flights could begin. Striving posted that he believed that was correct. So, nothing wrong with asking for a pass, but since it has taken so long why couldn't we have just re tested the one slide and be done with it and be moving ahead?
