Not having followed the boards recently I was unaware of this process taking place. Tomorrow I will give Tony a call and ask why they have chosen to raise money in this fashion. My first guess is that they are anticipating certification by the end of the year and are planning to increase their fleet ASAP but a phone call will solve that mystery. The big investors also have limits. They have promised to keep Baltia funded regarding salaries and expenses but purchasing more aircraft requires a lot more cash above and beyond keeping the company going in its quest to become America's Newest International Airline.
