The AVLXD/CTIX back and forth money flow really does have something to do with the trading on both stocks. It was really disgusting to see some of the CTIX bashers over at AVXLD pumping like crazy. I saw them pump it several times -- this is the best stock ever, I have my whole account in it -- then it would go up big and they'd disappear for 3 or 4 days. Then, they'd come back and say "I'm buying in big, best stock ever" etc. It was really nauseating. It's reasonable to assume they sold at the top and then after it fell, bought another ticket on the roller coaster.

Then one of the CTIX moderators came in with "I'm all in with this one" and the slobbering of "oh if YOU'RE in this stock it must be good" was utterly sickening.

Oddly enough that was right before the Mako hit piece. Nice timing, huh?

Anyhow, I do think that the short gangs' leaders started taking profits when AVXLD was at 10, and then the followers in the shorting gangs started doing so also after the leaders told them to sell. (Some of the gangs openly invite people to get on their email lists, and brag about how they all pile in on a stock to run it up.) I think today's sell-off was partially due to people deciding they didn't want to be out of CTIX in case a big news release comes next week so they took their profits and bought back in to CTIX. I also think that there was the usual round-trip of AVXLD shorters who then bought back in.
