You do not have to be on his mailing list to receive the update.
It is on the Public Facebook group called Official NTEK Investor's Group. Here is DW official response one hour prior to bell close. To me news is still right around the corner, just a little snag up. If the delay what "out of our control" that means there is a third party. Which is potentially good news that is knocking on the door imo.
"The update looks like it most likely will not be able to come out today and will not put out any time frame on this now until it is out. The reason I have been informing all that is an update is coming, is because we expect to be able to communicate and delays happen that are out of our control. We have received many inquiries about when we will have an update, so we try to give you our expectations on communicating. This is a double edged sword here as investors ask for updates and we want to be able to give answers. Please understand that all company specifics are not able to be shared with us as investors, which is why the company is limited many times. As stated weekly updates will be coming to improve the communication in the interim of press releases."
