NTEK and nflix upconvert to 4k levels, and yes new tv's can upscale to a small degree, but the real difference is the fact that we can stream the same quality at less than 1/5 of their bit rate. Streaming while having that extra throughput left over will solve many issues regarding quality amongst other things. And yes, first hand UF looks far more impressive and detailed than Nflix on my tv.
