A little known, and overlooked Teck exploration project is Explor Resources 'Timmins Porcupine West', a well drilled gold property with one million 'proven & probable' ounces. Teck entered into a 70% earn-in agreement with Explor late last December, calling for twelve million in further exploration expenditure. Starting in March, 2015, Teck spent a number of months verifying core samples, and making preparations for a drilling campaign.
Most recently, senior Teck staff are seeking accommodations in nearby Timmins, Ontario, and will be orienting the selected local drilling company in corporate safety, environmental and operational procedures. It appears Teck will be drilling at the TPW site imminently.
This will have no bearing on Teck's stock value, but will certainly place tremendous interest in Explor's stock, currently trading for pennies.
