Research and Markets (http://www.researchandmarkets.com/research/fhklpc/analyzing_the) has announced the addition of the "Analyzing the Global Wind Energy Industry 2015" report to their offering. This research brings you a complete in-depth focus on the global wind energy in its report - Analyzing the Global Wind Energy Industry. The report explores the importance of wind power in today's energy-hungry world. The report looks at the basics of the wind power industry, that is, how a wind turbine works, analyzing and understanding the technologies involved in harvesting wind power, and much more. Economics, issues and barriers, regulatory incentives, tax incentives, and other such factors are also explored in-depth in this report. In many parts of the world, wind energy has already grown to be a mainstream energy source. This growth has long been driven by concerns about global climate change, mainly in the developed world and especially in Europe. Wind energy has emerged as the most attractive solution to the world's energy challenges. It is clean and fuel-free. Moreover, wind is indigenous and enough wind blows across the globe to cope with the ever increasing electricity demand. Moreover, wind power generation is increasingly competitive with conventional fossil fuel sources and already today is on a par with new coal or gas fired power stations. This offering includes a complete analysis of the major countries investing in wind power, along with companies around the world which are making waves in the field of wind power. The report is a comprehensive A to Z guide on the global wind power industry. Key Topics Covered: Executive Summary Section 1: Overview of Wind Energy A. Introduction to Wind Power B. Why Choose Wind Power? C. Wind Power Technology D. Growth Drivers & Challenges for Wind Energy E. Analyzing the Global Wind Energy Industry F. Tollgrade's LightHouse(R) Smart Grid Sensors Monitor Renewables and Collisions on Overhead Power Lines in the United Kingdom
PRWeb - Tue Oct 21, 5:30AM CDT
Tollgrade Communications, Inc., the industry leader in redefining the global standard for reliability at the world's largest electric utilities and telecommunications providers, announced today that is actively engaged in Ofgem funded projects with Western Power Distribution (WPD), Scottish and Southern Energy Power Distribution (SSEPD) and Community Energy Scotland. WPD will deploy Tollgrade LightHouse Sensors to monitor network capacity and renewables to avoid building expensive new infrastructure and reduce the cost passed onto UK consumers. SSEPD is spearheading a first-of-its kind project that will use Tollgrade LightHouse Sensors to monitor medium voltage overhead lines for collisions to better and more proactively protect public safety from accidental contact with overhead lines. Community Energy Scotland will assist the procurement and operation of sensors by community-owned generators enabling participants to see the power flows within their local networks; a vital element in developing local energy systems. These projects are important to UK consumers because they will help keep the costs of energy delivery down, improve public safety and combat global climate change by reducing the UK's carbon footprint.
