New precedent-setting ruling on libel and defamation. Yes, it has to do with Mr. Scum himself (Bill Cosby), but what's interesting is what determines whether a libel/defamation case can proceed to trial:

So if the Mako claim that Leo would steal from the company in the future, and Dr. KSS's calling Dr Menon a "congenital liar" and other false claims are provable by facts ("empty offices" anyone? how about "unviable science"?) as to whether they constitute defamation. the case proceeds to trial. I don't see how anyone could think that they were not provable by facts -- which means Mako is in a world of hurt.
You can bet this if some joker reading Yahoo News can find this article, that Mr. Sullivan (CTIX's lawyer from the Ashford firm) certainly knows ALL about it.
