So the big question is , is Itraq still working with Geotraq and temporarily using off the shelf parts to make the cell mobile tracking device to fill orders until Geotraq supply is met ,or is Geotraq out altogether , Geotraq has a very unique and small device that uses less power .

The premise and features of the first iTraq product were based on a new and unique GSM module that the supplier has not yet gotten certified nor delivered to us.

Rather than simply take the funding we got and kept you and all the other backers waiting we’re offering an alternative. Unhappy with the delay from our GSM module supplier we went out and found a new supplier to work with and designed a new tracking device, with better features, that uses components from some of the biggest names in telecom and GPS tracking that are already fully certified and globally respected.

We take pride in displaying integrity, even in the face of difficult and surprising circumstances, like not getting a key component that we already paid for. Of course this is our issue to deal with and offering the free upgrade seemed to make a lot of backers happy.
