MagneGas Selected for Major Steel Demolition Project in Florida

MagneGas2(R) Selected for One of the Largest Demo Projects in St. Petersburg History
TAMPA, Florida, October 8, 2015 /PRNewswire/ --
MagneGas Corporation ("MagneGas" or the "Company"
(NASDAQ: MNGA), a leading energy and technology company that counts among its inventions a patented process that converts liquid waste into MagneGas(R) fuel, today announced that its cutting fuel is being used in the steel portion of the demolition of the St. Petersburg Pier. The St. Petersburg Pier is a multi-story structure that is being demolished and replaced with new building. The demolition project is one of the largest in the city's history.
Demolition contractor and current MagneGas(R) customer, Sonny Glasbrenner, Inc., was brought in to help demolish the structure. They specifically demanded MagneGas(R) fuel for this project due to its unique properties including cut speed. The Pier was originally constructed in 1889 as a railroad pier and grew to become a major local restaurant and shopping destination. The project is expected to take 4 months and will use MagneGas2(R) for steel cutting and related demolition.

MagneGas2(R) has consistently received positive feedback from end users such as demolition companies, utility companies and industrial facilities because of its proven faster cutting speed, demonstrated safety attributes, eco-friendly aspects and smaller heat affected zone. The fuel is produced in the USA as opposed to acetylene which is made from calcium carbide imported primarily from China and other countries. The increased cutting speed translates into the potential of increased productivity and lower costs for end users.
