LAS VEGAS, October 6, 2015 /PRBuzz/ — Pure Hospitality Solutions, Inc., (OTC: PNOW) announced today, that in light of the upcoming beta release of Oveedia, scheduled for October 9th, 2015, 2:30 p.m. (CT), management released a blog entitled, “Shaping the CACTH”. Its purpose, to make clear that the raw beta release of Oveedia, is an intentional method meant to efficiently accelerate the ‘shaping’ of the Central American-Caribbean Travel Hub (CACTH) online search and booking application (www.Oveedia.com).
“The ongoing creation, development and testing of an application’s functionalities, can only be shaped by user participation,” stated Melvin Pereira, President and CEO of Pure Hospitality Solutions, Inc. “Therefore, we must beta release the application, allowing user behavior to assist us with shaping the CACTH. This affords Oveedia the ability to function at the most competitive levels.”
In shaping the CACTH, PURE is employing the “banana principle,” borrowing the method from proven companies, such as Google, Flickr and Del.licio.us. Anticipating a significant flow of traffic to the new OTA, management believes, that with the assistance of Softon ITG, PURE will have the ability to quickly integrate and scale the application almost weekly.
For PURE shareholders, shaping the CACTH in this manner, should mean ‘exciting times ahead.’ This would be due to Oveedia’s efficient transformation, into a fully functional product; a product that is totally marketable and user friendly by hotels and travel customers. Most importantly, the allure of Oveedia to acquiring companies, would simply be too hard to resist. As reflected in the Forbes.com article, “Why Is LATAM On The OTA Leaders’ Radars?,” Expedia [EXPE] made an investment in Latin American travel with Decolar (Portugal). Priceline [PCLN] did the same with its investment in Hotel Urbano (Brazil). The need to be a part of the 2016, $34 Billion Latin American online travel market is evident, as companies like Oveedia are ripe for nine figure investments.
Mr. Pereira concluded, “We are comfortable with the idea of shaping the CACTH, using this method. There are several dozen integrations we plan to test and add, as we quickly move along. So, launching the beta this week is absolutely the right move for us. We are extremely excited!”
