one PMI down-47.3- while industrial production rose 6.1% aug yoy, cars ca 3% up yoy but something else rose ca 26%
chinas been doubling? its military spending every year-its very 1st aircraft carrier arrived in the syrian war theater some to say to bomb USA backed syrian groups with russia
and military spending always has a lower economic multiplier-which is why military machines over time have a tendency -absent arm sales and other intangible factors-to be a drag on the economy- fall of the USSR a prime example -insufficient civil economy to support the military infrastructure-there were of course many other cascading factors associated w glasnost -like the population discovering-w the aid of the internet
(and yes children there was a very recent time where there was internet-and no PC's for that matter- i still know smart trial lawyers and businessmen who dont how to even turn on a PC or who dont use the internet- we were advised in college not to even learn how to type -only women took typing classes-''you will always have someone to do that for you''- the technological divide between generations)
