American Seed & Oil Company, Inc.
American Seed & Oil Company, Inc. (A subsidiary of Algae
International Group, Inc.), is still an ongoing state of Vermont
project, which is under the direct influences of Algae's management
team. As a consequence of IJJ Corporate involvement to raise
development capital, our research into government and non-profit
funding sources identified funding for PTSD within the framework of
Skills for Psychological Recovery (SPR), which is an evidence-
informed modular intervention that aims to help survivors gain skills
to manage distress and cope with post-disaster stress and adversity.
The Algae business model provided three key components:
Assistance living with onsite counselors, vocational training, and the
opportunity to farm. We are specializing in cultivated Medical
Marijuana, reusable fuel plants, and growing selective natural herbs
for medicine and vitamins for over 56 pharmaceutical companies.
Plus the ability for each PTSD member to learn about the latest state-
of-Art technologies for all three crops. The end result is the PTSD
member will acquire skill sets to generate sustainable revenues to
support and expand the project into additional states.
IJJ Corp has identified donators for over 65% of the line items required to furnish the assistance living building once it is built. Additional funding sources for grants will propel this project for each location once the land site is either purchased or under a long term lease and the appropriate licenses are acquired to operate the business site.
Funding Requirement
Update: as of June 23, 2015, Waiting on Algae for the Vermont Project. We have engaged two sites for possible PTSD sites under the SPR program. Anticipate updates In August 2015.
To establish a treatment center the initial funding is $800 thousand with matching grants funding. The use of funds will include sustaining the operation over 6 months during cultivation, to acquire a minimum of 10 to 15 acres of land, ideally the site should have it's own underground water supply, and preparation of land for construction. Ideally we are looking for locations remote enough to implement the level of security for farming the selected crops and to allow for the PTSD members to have the freedom to recover.
