Go On-line and set up your account in Charles Schwab.
Once you have everything set up and verified you can acat or sweep your account from your other broker into your new account through your action center within your Charles Schwab account.
If you ever need any help they are always on staff 24/7 to call and someone will help guide you through the web site on how to perform any action you want to do. I have called them at 1 am in the morning and they answer.
Also on buying and selling ...... if for example you want to sell or buy 200,000 shares of something; even it it takes 4 or 5 transactions, you put in 1 order .... so your only charged $8.95 for that order. Period!!
