So my thoughts after 63 days (9 weeks!) since the
Post# of 41413
(and may I say, these thoughts are not just my own but have been gathered from and bounced off of other investors from literally around the world).....
If this last mini was going to be a fail, that decision would have been made by now, long ago, so therefore this last mini will be deemed a pass.
But.....it can't be just a "clean" pass, because the FAA has taken way too long to make their decision. If they just hand out a pass, then the question would be.....what took so long?
In order to cover their butts....for taking way too long, or for some of their staff accidentally or purposely dropping the ball, or whatever......they are going to have to make the pass contingent upon some task of some kind.
My guess.....and I am not alone in this, and could basically suggest that the common thoughts out there are unanimous....is that the FAA is going to ask Baltia to deploy a (or some) slides under a controlled sitiuation....to confirm that the procedures that Baltia implemented since the last mini have ensured that the slides are going to function properly.
It makes the most sense......it helps give a reason for the decision being dragged out this long....and Baltia needs a deployed slide in order to do the ditching exercise anyway.
The question is......WHEN? When will the FAA finally step up to the plate and do the right thing?
These men from the FAA....are they not the cream of the crop? Haven't most of them been through the airforce or flown commercially, etc.? Haven't they been in tough spots at some time in their lives, forced to make the best decision available to them with very little time to spare?
So......what happened to these admirable men? Why has it taken them 63+ days to step up to the plate, take the bull by the horns, and make a fair and reasonable decision? What has years of working in an office done to their kick ass attitudes?
I just can't figure out why it would take a group of some of the finest men out there so long to do the right thing................
It is not too late to correct the injustices of the past, it is just that continuing to allow this to drag out is a black eye for some of the finest individuals and one of the finest institutions that this country has to offer................
I would finish with "JMHO", but the truth is that these thoughts appear to me to be universal among the many individuals that I have spoken to over the last few weeks...............
