if there are any kind of short positions still ope

if there are any kind of short positions still open when company goes private, there accounts will automatically be debited $2.50 pps by the broker. so covering through us would be wise for a short position. if company does go private, supposedly Thursday and no huge run, well then shorts have already covered. not sure how the naked shorts would work.
