Unfortunately , a motion for default is pretty much a done deal, UNLESS they can prove they were not served! Which being served to their RA is pretty much iron clad proof. All the judge does is see that they have been served and sign it. CRGP threw away any right they had to defend themselves in court.
I worked 7 years in a law dept. doing service and then filing and entering default judgments.
If they wanted to defend themselves and bring up an affirmative defenses they needed to do that in an answer.
I know people don't want to hear negative. But this is not going to be all rainbows and unicorns!!
