From another board , SMS is going above and beyond my expectations.
I attempted to refinance my home to get the funds necessary to purchase a HJOE franchise, only to be turned down by my bank. It took longer than I would have liked, and I thought that was the end of the story for my hopes. The reason I was turned down was because of the small amount of time I have at my current place of employment. I called Don Cunningham this morning to give him the new and he told me about something they are working on to help people like myself get the funding. SMS is applying with the SBA (Small Business Administration) to be recognized as a legit business. The process will take approximately 30 days to approve once the SBA receives the application. Then all anyone needs to do is apply for an SBA loan through a broker/banker. Don got me in touch with a female Joanie who helps people get either prequalified/qualified for an SBA loan. After that, once a prospective new franchisee submits their application for a loan it will take another 30 days to process. Just a bit of information I wanted to pass on to those who may be thinking about purchasing this franchise. Good Luck To All. Less
