When the buyout is ready, FINRA will require everybody to close positions. Investors' shares will be liquidated, shorts will have to cover. Everything happens at the share price established in the merger agreement.
There could be a short squeeze but not beyond .27. Shortie may just wait for FINRA to draft the funds @ 0.27.
