I don't want to pretend I know the full answer but I doubt there were enough sellers to match all the big buyers. In that case the market makers sell the stock and take the risk, that is their responsibility. They will make out in good shape when they buy back lower plus commissions on shares. As for volume, I was expecting to see a massive increase in volume when news was close. Info always leaks out. The only thing I didn't see is a big gap up. That tells me it's possibly a few days away. The bid ask spread is super tight. Something you rarely see in pink sheets. Means strong liquidity. All positive stuff. May a trader can fill in the blanks.
