Never shorted - don't understand the mindset. I am an optimist. I need to be positive about the companies I study and invest in.
I have taken some business beatings that cause me to look at different things than others. I am willing to look at penny stocks, unaudited companies in the pinks, though I have not been a common investor here.
NTEK looks real to me. They seem to be pulling in real executives that have been successful elsewhere that are here for a big win who also want to have some fun doing it. They attract merger partners link uplink.to and the the wildly intelligent type of techie inventor that built it. They do business with Verizon, Google Paramount Sony, Hisense ... They seem to have earned their way into a catbird seat in 4k, and all of the big companies surrounding them have us on speed dial for what appears to be a once in a decade conversion to a conversion to a new presentation format.
Industry players that have far greater opportunity to understand this technology and are part of it as a part of their daily business lives who are part of this same make it or break it conversion to 4k with all of the $$$$ at risk from manufacturers to film companies to EDM to sports and advertizing; these same people can due DD you and I can never dream of ---- they seem to be voting for NTEK. AND THE ACTIONS THAT ARE PROVING THE DD ARE HAPPENING RIGHT NOW.
There are reasons for all of these delays. Some are complex tech; some are decision makers looking for hot-off-the-press proof of ability.
Take Paramount for example - how long have they been watching us and reveiwing NTEK's tech? What did it take for Paramount to provide access to 950 movies that are all top line movies? What will other players do when we get to 300 movies? What will they do when we start putting up 100 movies at a shot, and prove that Uplink.to is a huge asset and that NTEK was right again?
In a world were these big players are desperate for us to succeed and hoping for that hot-off-the-press stuff as much as we are? We already see that just reported conversation with a sony tech (thanks) and that just reported conversation about Tizen (thanks again).
We are not the only ones working like crazy, and I think I have seen enough to be willing to be part of this.
This can be huge.
I AM IN. - FOR THE LONG GAME.
