The way I see it is, if the company managed to buy back most or all of the shares and reduced the OS, all those shares may be held by just a few company owner/shareholders. All the trading we see going on now are air shares from a massive NSS which can never be covered. So, the company could really issue a .27 cent price on the shares and not have to pay all that much out of pocket. All the NSS shares will have to be paid by the brokerage who minted them in the first place.
When the email received today from the company mentions selling them some time in the future, that may be in reference to when they go private. First the merger has to take place. Then the buy out to go private when we are offered the $$$.
