The bottom line imho is there are no real shares available to be sold, period.
Those that are short do not want the price to go up as it will cause margin calls and increase their carrying costs so they continue to sell shares they do not have. In order to reduce the percentage of short sales they utilize wash trades .
This not only increase the volume, simulating selling, is used to walk down the share prices and lowers the FINRA short sale percentages. Those short realize they have a tiger by the tail in CTIX. Management is going to fight back and has done a great job so far. How many longs have bought more shares as a result of the company taking a stand? Lots imho. I also bet we have attracted new investors due to the outlandish attacks on a company that is working hard to save lives and help folks who are suffering. The shorts are in trouble, they know it and we know it. Even the bashers are having problems on the other board. Going to be fun when the bomb is dropped. Go CTIX!!!
