Regarding Apple, what most people don't know is that Steve Jobs owned 45%, Stephen Wozniak owned 45%, and Ronald Wayne was a 10% owner of Apple. Ronald Wayne, the third guy, often forgotten. Ronald sold his share of the company for $2300 because dealing with vendors at that time was not easy. It was more hassle than he wanted to deal with.
