Price/volume+ chart. They're walking down the pric

Price/volume+ chart. They're walking down the price on low volume trades, then covering their shorts. Look at the little "dots" with low volume -- then look at the volume bar for successive trades, as people buy. My impression looking at this is that this is short covering, not new buying, on the theory that the low-volume walk-downs would NOT be happening if this were genuine new buying coming in.

Of course I could be wrong. But seeing there being periods of time with NO trades (on what is, compared to the last several weeks, a high-volume day) makes me think that the scenario above, short covering, is what's happening.
