I thought I'd answer a couple of questions here in

IP- please check your shots. Some of the amazon shots are clearer than UF. Tia."
No the AMZN shots are not clearer, they are however artificially brightened beyond what the filmmakers intended.

'Problems with this particular comparison is that most of what is shown from Amazon are much closer-up shots. Close-ups naturally show more detail.'
You actually would get less detail as you blow up the frames as AMZN did.
The point is AMZN shots totally lack detail and the entire scope of the film is lost due to the cropping.
Warning: Braveheart is not a bright sunny movie, it is a rather dark tale and the filmmakers purposely took artistic license and made it this way. AMZN's version has been brightened considerably. For easier comparison, I took the liberty of brightening the UF shots using a Photoshop curve function.
Here is the result, it is an easier comparison. Please zoom in for better viewing.
Also, these are from a Macbook, I have no idea the level of brightness on a 4K TV.
I would imagine UF looks even more impressive at a large scale too.
