The Mississippi State Board of Education has chosen Questar Assessment Inc. as its statewide summative assessment provider for grades 3-8 and several End-of-Course assessments. Over the course of the contract, the company will ultimately be responsible for the program management, development, administration, scoring, reporting and analysis of the state's grades 3-8 English language arts and mathematic summative assessments, as well as End-of-Course assessments for English II and Algebra I. The contract also includes an option to for the state to add Geometry and Algebra II assessments.
