On a serious note…..and because I have been bottled up for too long and haven’t been able to write….I’d like to discuss the value of a highly restricted license.
Highly restricted licenses is the way that I have made my small fortune over the years, and how I have been able to purchase over 6 million dollars worth of BLTA….without going over my head.
I have said it many times before: If Baltia fails, my life won’t change a bit, but if Baltia succeeds, well my life could very well change substantially.
In my business, I have to be approved by banks and State and Federal regulators (financials, finger prints, criminal background checks, interviews, etc.) before I can even be given the permission to apply for a license.
Then the location that I select could easily take 2 to 2 ½ years before I am given the permission to open my doors.
2 to 2 ½ years of paying salaries, utilities, rents, insurance, etc…….but the thing is that once I open my doors, I recoup all of that within 6 months, and my license is valued at 5 to 10 times what I paid for it (depending upon location).
After 6 months, the store becomes a cash cow.
Baltia’s certification is no different. There are very few of these being given out, and with fuel prices so low and the prospects of air travel being so high, their certificate is in high demand.
Imagine for a moment that a group of investors gets together and wants to start an airline. They are facing 3+ years of intense regulatory procedures and over 100 million dollars in expenses in order to obtain that certificate….and no doubt that the FAA is going to become even more strict with their requirements during that 3+ years.
Or………you could cut a deal with a young, start up airline who has just received their certification and become an affiliate or another division….and piggy back on their certification…..and start your airline 3 years earlier.
How much is that worth?
BLTA trading sub penny is absolutely insane at this time. Their license alone is easily worth 5 to 10 times what they paid for it, and is only a few weeks to a couple of months away. Do you think anyone with pockets full of money is going to allow this to crash at this point in time?

BLTA is a diamond in the rough. It amazes me how few people realize this.
