A couple of days ago, in Las Vegas, a plane caught fire on the runway and they had to deploy the slides to evacuate the plane and there were no reports of slide failures. (Unless what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas) LOL...Too bad we couldn't be that lucky. Here's hoping to getting a determination from the FAA some time soon.
