***NTEK visit today in San Jose*** Let me just sa

Let me just say upfront a big thank you to the NTEK team for allowing me a quick visit to the facility today and you can well guess it has become 10 fold workload since the signing of the Paramount contract. I was very limited in time but got a very well spent 30 minute visit with David Swanson head of manufacturing and distribution and deals in the hardware /software side of what makes up this team creating the next big streaming giant in the 4K industry. As with the beginning of this road down 4K so many issues to deal with the encoding process still is not where they want it to be. While we have witnessed a good influx of uploads the recent days it still need to be better according to David. Let me tell you NTEK is pioneering their way through this with constant new technology creating on the fly so to speak. They have begun putting together their owns encoders with 2 built so far and 5 more to be put together this coming weekend to be online next week. He mentioned these are called 99XR machines if memory serves me. A bit pricey at $21,000 a piece but between cloud computing/encoding and these new machines coming on line will surpass the earlier estimates given at the SHM as far as uploading output. In addition all Nanotech office and 4K studio's will be upgraded to fiber optic cable installed by AT&T pronto. Per David will not only vastly improve the encoding process and also be a huge saving according to David of typically $10,000 per month per office of GB usage will go down to $3,000 per month ultimately decreasing the entire encoding process with much more in house ability to encode then ever before. Can you see why these guys are serious about this?!!! In regards to updating the FB pages for NTEK and UltraFlix that is in the hands of A. Taylor which because he was not available I could not really get an update. As mentioned I had very limited time but vastly learn each time going there that this is a very unique company building block by block day by day so many partnerships it makes one's head spin as to what the future brings. I encourage anyone that can make a visit to their facility do so as they like to hear our perspectives too to keep things real. That being said I had time the night before stop in the local Best Buy and see what the sales people new of UltraFlix and I honestly was disappointed as the two that I asked did not really know much at all about UF. As usual they come away with appreciation when people like us tell them about it because ultimately it helps sales of 4K TV's ! I plan on following up with A. Taylor on that one as it seems pretty of odd to have that result dead center in the birthing place of ULTRAFLIX!!! Enough said ....GO NTEK!
