Post# of 41413
Below is probably the most succinct and best summary of the last Mini Evac Test that I have read. I have no idea if the author is accurate or not. Having said that, it is worth sharing here. Use your own judgement and DD.

It's been 44 days since the mini. The local FSDO immediately recommended a PASS. All of the Baltia employees involved in the demo, in the words of the FSDO, performed flawlessly and exceeded FAA requirements for a PASS of the demo. At this point it is painfully obvious that we are all waiting for the PASS to come back from DC. A fail would have been here a month ago. The Baltia certification and legal personnel have succeeded in pointing out to the FAA in DC the specific verbiage in the regs that allow for a mini evac pass even thou a piece of vendor supplied equipment malfunctions during the demo. The FAA is in the process of carefully researching and writing an unprecedented mini evac demo PASS with a malfunction of a piece of vendor supplied equipment. It will arrive soon and its on to proving flights and certification! If it was going to be a fail, that would have come back in days.
