cramer is an entertainer not unlike rush limbaugh being a news caster. of course he is not going to pump penny stocks as he cannot get on-air and make money pumping penny's as it would like hurt his brand.
reading wiki about cramer is interesting. he made his money in the 80's up to 2000 when making money in the market was easy. here is a quote from wiki about his activities as a hedge fund manager.
