I think you're greatly underestimating the potential of this company. If I'm right, these dudes aren't planning to sell the company unless the offer is outrageously high. They're most likely working toward a structure that'll prevent hostile takeover. Coca Cola is in for a little over 16%. If what you said were the most likely scenario, they, or some other brute, would own at least a controlling percentage. Also keep in mind what I said before about Monster's share structure and the price. From 2005 to 2012, they executed three forward splits: a 2 for 1, a 4 for 1 and another 2 for 1. This greatly reduced the share price during that period, and without keeping that in mind it's easy to underestimate the growth potential that an outstanding product that's rapidly gaining popularity can have in this market.
