SEATTLE, Dec. 22, 2014
(GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Part of the new boom in Seattle's South Lake Union tech center, GeoTraq, Inc. (OTC:GTRQ) boasts wireless Cell-ID technology with countless applications and built-in marketability for theft recovery and asset tracking devices. GeoTraq has created the world's first and only dedicated Cell-ID transceiver module that can foster design and manufacturing of extremely small, inexpensive products with exceptional battery life — years on a single charge. In fact, GeoTraq will establish Cell-ID as the new global standard for asset tracking. Using Cell-ID technology exclusively, GeoTraq provides lowest-cost solutions and service life that will enable new global markets for location-based services (LBS) using technology similar to what emergency 911 location systems use right now. Today, 200 million remote "connected" devices exist. By 2020, it is estimated that 50 billion will be in service. Products using Cell-ID will capitalize on basic delineators: long battery life, extremely small form factor, low deployment costs — and it works indoors, unlike GPS. GeoTraq has identified an untapped market for asset location and tracking devices. Already, several Fortune 500 companies have been in contact with GeoTraq. Multiple commercial, government, military and industrial applications include asset location, theft recovery, security, and inventory control. Initially, GeoTraq plans to sell the Cell-ID module for $16 each and will charge a monthly service fee from $1 to $10 and $0.01 to $10 per look-up request (depending on the application). GeoTraq's comprehensive solution includes the Cell-ID transceiver, proprietary Cell-ID device firmware, WebTraq LBS platform software and secure Cell-ID service. The GeoTraq platform is a Java-based, scalable, multi-tenant software to manage an unlimited number of Cell-ID devices. GeoTraq will also offer customizable iPhone and Android applications to meet specific customer requirements. This means users of smart phones, tablets, and virtually any PC can benefit. Existing solutions have failed to meet the needs of a large, under-served portion of the LBS market. Consider that both RFID and Wi-Fi require close proximity for asset tracking; and GPS earns its reputation for being large, expensive, power hungry, and outdoor only. RFID's short-range solution works indoors but requires bothersome installation. GeoTraq's Cell-ID small, mobile and inexpensive solution works for years on a single charge — it's that simple.

With the adjustment on how often you want your iTraq to report, you can track hourly to monthly giving it a 3 year battery life without recharging. -

SEATTLE, May 5, 2015
(GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- GeoTraq, Inc. (OTC:GTRQ), a development stage company focused on developing next-generation wireless location technology, announced the successful production of the World's First Cell-ID Module. A limited number of modules were produced for testing and certification purposes. A Cell-ID module is a "registration only" cellular module that does not support voice or data services but can register on almost every GSM Cellular Network in the World. "Cell-ID modules will allow companies to deploy extremely small tracking tags worldwide and locate them with a click of a button," said Gregg Sullivan, CEO of GeoTraq. Due to the small size, low cost and low battery consumption of Cell-ID modules, location tags and tracking devices that use a Cell-ID module can be smaller, less expensive and operate over longer periods of time then those using traditional cellular modules. The G-200 2G GSM Quad-Band Cell-ID Module is the first in a new generation of cellular transceiver modules that will allow wireless device integrators to design and manufacture Cell-ID enabled location products for the commercial, industrial and consumer markets.

SEATTLE, May 7, 2015
(GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- GeoTraq, Inc. (OTC:GTRQ), a development stage company focused on developing next-generation wireless location technology, announced the approval and allocation of 1,000,000 unique IMEI numbers by the GSM Association (GSMA). IMEI numbers are unique to every GSM mobile device present in the world. They are encoded into the cellular modules that power mobile devices. No mobile device can register on a GSM cellular network without a unique IMEI number. The bank of IMEI numbers will be assigned to the first million Cell-ID modules manufactured by GeoTraq. "This is a huge milestone for GeoTraq," said Gregg Sullivan, CEO of GeoTraq. "Our new G-200 2G Quad-Band Cell-ID Module will be capable of registering on over 1,200 cellular carriers throughout the world allowing it to be located practically anywhere." The G-200 2G GSM Quad-Band Cell-ID Module is the first in a new generation of cellular transceiver modules that will allow wireless device integrators to design and manufacture Cell-ID enabled location products for the commercial, industrial and consumer markets. About GeoTraq, Inc. GeoTraq Inc. is a technology provider established to manufacture and sell cellular transceiver modules and associated services specifically enabled by Cell-ID with all its inherent advantages over GPS and RFID to provide solutions for the tracking, asset recovery and location based industries.

SEATTLE, June 2, 2015
(GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- GeoTraq, Inc. (OTC:GTRQ), a development stage company focused on developing next-generation wireless location technology, announced the successful submission of a utility patent application to the USPTO. The patent application incorporates multiple claims to proprietary circuit design, firmware functionality, and software platform architecture that defines and supports Cell-ID modules. "We look forward to receiving timely approval of our patent application," said Gregg Sullivan, CEO of GeoTraq. "Protecting our invention from infringement is a top priority of the company." GeoTraq has successfully completed the design of their first product, the G-200 Cell-ID Module which is intended to work on 2G cellular networks. The company will soon begin designing the G-300 Cell-ID module for use on 3G cellular networks. The patent application is applicable to any cellular network using any frequency bands such as GSM or CDMA.
