"Solterra’s objective is to become the first quantum dot solar cell (QDSC) manufacturer to be able to offer a solar electricity solution that competes below the retail price of electricity worldwide. Solterra intends to acquire a significant amount of solar photovoltaic market share by introducing a new generation of solar cells built on industry-leading technologies that are ready to emerge from the R&D realm and begin full-scale production by commercializing a high volume, extremely competitive cost-per-watt, quantum dot based third-generation photovoltaic solar cell."
